Dear Minecraft Development Team,
While Bedrock Edition provides excellent performance and cross-play, its touch-oriented interface feels cumbersome for desktop players. I propose adding an official, native "Java Edition UI" toggle under Bedrock's Video or Accessibility settings.
Key Enhancements:
Authentic Layouts: Restore Java-style grid proportions, armor slots, off-hand alignment, and compact screens for chests, furnaces, brewing stands, and villager trading.
Classic Menus: Replicate the traditional Java pause overlay and settings hierarchy, eliminating touch-centric padding.
Desktop Shortcuts: Support shift-clicking, stack dragging, and hotbar number binding alongside controller snapping.
Native Stability: Replace bug-prone third-party UI resource packs with built-in engine support.
Offering a choice between "Modern Bedrock" and "Classic Java" UI themes dramatically improves menu ergonomics, inventory speed, and platform parity.
