Settings dont save after updating and poor optimization in bedrock edition

In the latest bedrock edition update that i installed today, my settings were reset leading to some performance issues. My device is not at all weak but the vibrant visuals seem to be very poorly optimized by default. So i had my custom specific setup to make the game run well while still looking good. The update completely reset my setting so i dont remember what i did before and my game runs extremely unstable again. Fps drops go below 15fps i believe. I also noticed that my key binds were all reset which is just as upsetting. I dont know what causes the resets but they happen everytime i update the game. Reconfiguring a game everytime it updates is exhausting. I honestly cant imagine that this game runs any good on consoles or mobile devices if it struggles on a gaming pc. Which is concerning when the main goals of bedrock edition are advertised to be optimization and compatibility. Othewise i am having fun and i hope this can be fixed. Thank you for understanding.
