Deepslate Piston: A hybrid tool and redstone block from the Ancient Cities

I propose a new item called the Deepslate Piston. It is a unique hybrid that works both as a hand-held tool and a placed block, found through Ancient City materials.

As a tool, right-clicking the ground launches you upward, mitigating your fall damage like a wind charge. Using it on mobs or players shoves them back up to 32 blocks, and they still take full fall damage. To keep it balanced, it has durability but cannot receive any enchantments (no Mending or Unbreaking). You can only repair it using Echo Shards from the Deep Dark.

As a placed redstone block, it can push heavy blocks like obsidian, crying obsidian, and ancient debris. If it encounters light blocks like dirt or wood, it instantly crushes them into item drops instead of pushing them. This adds incredible new mechanics for redstone builders and prevents flying machines from jamming.

  This is a good idea with tons of potential, but i think it shouldn't be usable as a wind charge.
