Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.
In Bedrock Edition, villages generate in snowy taiga using taiga houses with snow on the roofs, but in Java Edition no villages generate there at all. Java should add taiga villages to snowy taiga for parity.
In both editions, villagers in these villages should also wear the taiga outfit instead of the snowy plains one. The taiga outfit already has thick fur and suits a cold spruce forest, and it matches the taiga houses they live in.
