As we know, Minecraft Dungeons II has been released, but it still doesn't support every language. I believe this is the perfect opportunity to bring back the original Translator Cape event!
In the past, community members could help translate Minecraft into different languages and earn the iconic Translator Cape for their efforts. Bringing back this exact system would be an amazing way to reward dedicated players and make Minecraft more accessible worldwide.
I'd also like to suggest one addition: introduce a brand-new, even rarer cape for selected language moderators. Their role would be to review translations, prevent trolling, and maintain quality. The original Translator Cape would remain available to contributors, while moderators would receive a separate reward for their additional responsibilities.
As a Georgian speaker, I'd be genuinely interested in contributing to the Georgian translation and possibly helping moderate it if the opportunity ever arises.
Everyone should be able to participate without unnecessary age verification or personal information requirements.
This would benefit both the community and Mojang: better translations, greater accessibility, more community involvement, and two unique capes worth working towards.
Let's bring back a beloved piece of Minecraft history!
Bring Back the Translator Cape!
