Change the way multiplayer works

I want to be able to play with my friends on minecraft without having to spend money on gamepass, because i bought minecraft thinking i could play multiplayer for free because the game costed 20 dollars, but when i wanted to play with my friends it said multiplayer not available and i realized i needed to buy something else to play with my friends so i think that you shouldn’t need to gamepass to play multiplayer games
