Make The Sift Feel More Vanilla
I think The Sift should have a unique atmosphere and exploration mechanics without becoming overly complicated. Inspired by ideas such as the colorful landscapes, unusual trees, floating islands, and ancient ruins seen in fan-made Sift mods, I would love to see a few distinct biomes that feel natural to Minecraft while giving the dimension its own identity. Its three environmental phases could be called Thrive, Flow, and Endure. Thrive would encourage exploration through blooming plants and peaceful wildlife. Flow could expose hidden cave entrances and natural paths between floating islands. Endure would make exploration more dangerous by bringing out hostile mobs. The phases would change naturally over time and never affect player-built structures. The dimension could also feature unique trees with a new wood set and rare ruins containing useful materials and decorative blocks. A challenging boss could reward players with an exclusive music disc and a decorative block, giving them something memorable to collect without introducing overpowered gear. The goal should be to make The Sift a place worth exploring and building in, while keeping its mechanics simple, its rewards balanced, and its atmosphere unmistakably Minecraft. Would you prefer The Sift to have changing environmental phases or focus more on new biomes and exploration?
