Dear Mojang Support Team,
Currently, booting up Minecraft Bedrock Edition forces players into a single, feature-heavy version. Due to the accumulation of add-ons, marketplace integration, and experimental updates, the game has become increasingly glitchy, slow, and prone to crashes or infinite loading screens—particularly on consoles.
To resolve these performance issues and retain long-term players, Mojang should consider implementing a Two-Option Selection Screen at startup:
• Option 1: Pure Vanilla. A separate, hyper-stable, and lightweight version of Minecraft. This mode would bypass the marketplace engine, background add-on loading, and heavy UI features, offering console players a smooth, high-performance, and bug-free experience.
• Option 2: Bedrock Engine / Marketplace. The standard version of the game, providing full access to cross-play, servers, and marketplace add-ons when players choose to use them.
Splitting the game launch options would allow players seeking a traditional, optimized experience to enjoy the game without lag or crashes, while preserving access to marketplace content for those who want it.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Taven Wice
