With the arrival of the winter update, I think it would be a great idea to suggest a new mob that fits the theme. I present to you: the Giant Woolly Worm. This mob is designed to be a new challenge for players.
Inhabiting the tundra biome, it attacks anything that moves underneath the ground's surface, including both passive mobs and monsters. To avoid drawing its attention, players can wear leather boots, which prevent it from sensing their presence (via vibrations) in its territory.
When it targets a prey, it bursts out of the ground with a leap and lands on the enemy. Once it jumps, you must attack it as fast as possible before it burrows back into the ground. As an extra detail, when it moves deep underground, it leaves behind small snow particles, making it easier to track.
It also tends to lay its eggs on the surface. If you see them, keep your distance, because it means the worm is nearby. Its eggs have a light blue tint with white spots. If a player dies to it, the worm devours their items. To get them back, you just have to defeat the Giant Woolly Worm.
• Behavior: Hostile
• Health: 10 to 20 hearts (20-26 HP)
Attack: 4 to damage.
• Drops: Worm meat, beak, and wool blocks.
• Bonus: Do not eat the raw worm meat directly, as it contains a lethal toxin that poisons the player. Cook the meat in a furnace first! Additionally, the worm's beak can be used to craft traps that immobilize mobs.
