I am a Minecraft player from Japan, and I enjoy playing with my children. We love exploring, collecting resources, and building together in Survival mode. I hope we can continue enjoying Minecraft as a family for many years.
I suggest requiring players to create a copy of their world before switching from Survival to Creative mode. Creative mode would be enabled only in the copy, leaving the original world unchanged.
This would provide three benefits:
1. Protect achievements: In Bedrock Edition, switching to Creative mode disables achievements in that world. Players could keep earning achievements in their original Survival world.
2. Prevent mistakes: Children may accidentally change game modes without understanding the consequences.
3. Preserve the Survival experience: Large building projects can require hours of resource gathering. Knowing that Creative mode is always available can make this effort feel pointless, even when players want to enjoy Survival.
This feature would preserve player freedom. Anyone who wants to build freely could still use Creative mode in a copy, while their original Survival world remains protected.
As a parent, I want my children and me to keep enjoying the adventure and satisfaction of building together. I believe this simple change would help many players and families enjoy Minecraft for longer.
Thank you for making such a wonderful game!
