Blazes are essential to Minecraft progression, but they could fly faster considering their fire powers. They could move their rods behind their central head, forming a rocket-like shape and increasing their speed. However, this would be a special mode that the Blaze's AI activates and deactivates depending on the situation, rather than its permanent flying position.
Blazes could also leave Nether fortresses, fly through open areas, and circle around the structures. This would make the Nether feel more alive and dangerous, making Blazes seem truly adapted to their environment instead of enemies that only wait for players to enter their fortresses.
To add more challenge, Blazes would become stronger when they come into contact with soul fire, encouraging players to prevent them from escaping the fortress.
This idea could also apply to Breezes. Instead of flying freely through the environment, they could fly inside Trial Chambers during combat, using the rooms' vertical space to dodge attacks and make fights more difficult.
These changes would give both mobs more dynamic movement, more challenging fights, and behaviors better suited to their environments.
