Disc Press to Vanilla

I’ve just heard from a creator on YouTube about a new Disc Press block alongside the pocket jukebox, and it is such an amazing idea. However, I was heartbroken after hearing that it will only be an add-on when it comes out. I really hope that it’s possible to bring this to Vanilla Minecraft as part of the next drop, I know that the community would be very grateful. Thank you!
