When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Dispensers can dispense drip stone

We’ve all seen those pointy spike traps in movies, which is where this idea comes from. My idea suggests that dispensers could dispense drip stone, not the item but the actual block. And, similar to water buckets, it could pull them back in again. With this, we could make spike traps that go in and out using just a redstone clock!
