Redstone animation windmill blades

Since the cold has arrived in Minecraft, why not add wind—with Redstone integration? You could include animated windmill blades; adding 2, 3, or 4 blades would generate different levels of Redstone power, depending also on the height at which you place the mechanism. Minecraft could really use something dynamic involving Redstone—it would be a fantastic addition and make the game feel much more lively.
