I had an excellent idea to implement a mechanic that brings the real ability of copper wires to conduct electricity into the game. NO, WE WON'T MAKE COPPER WIRES, WE'LL USE WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE, COPPER BLOCKS. This idea is specifically for sending the redstone signal vertically. To send redstone signals vertically, you'll need "Conductive Copper Blocks." To make this block, you'll need 8 copper blocks (only the oxidized variants are valid, the decorative block variants are not valid) and 1 repeater. Place the repeater in the center and the 8 copper blocks around it on the crafting table to create 8 conductive copper blocks. The texture of the conductive copper block is the standard copper texture with some reddish pixels scattered across the block. When the block is powered, reddish particles occasionally come out of it, and the reddish pixels become lighter. You just need to keep connecting these blocks and the redstone will be transmitted normally (Considering the redstone signal strength, of course, it decreases by 1 with each block the signal passes through, as usual), but energizing these conductor blocks doesn’t mean energizing just any copper conductor block, you need a “Gold Conductor Source.” To create them, you need 1 gold block, 1 comparator, and 7 copper bars (Put the comparator in the center, the gold block at the bottom middle, and fill the rest with copper bars on the crafting table). Done! Now just place this conductor source block and power it normally
