Minecraft should introduce recruitable military villagers that defend settlements against hostile mobs\. There would be seven types: Patrol Guards, who patrol streets; Guards, who protect assigned locations; Archers, who defend walls and towers; Cavalry, who patrol on horseback; Spearmen, who defend entrances; Scouts, who detect approaching enemies; and Journeymen, who accompany players on expeditions\. Players could equip soldiers with weapons, shields and enchanted armour, including netherite, and assign orders such as Patrol, Guard, Follow and Retreat\. Soldiers could respond to village bells and return to their positions after combat\. They would never attack players or friendly creatures\. Journeymen could follow players through all dimensions, carry supplies and defend them against any hostile mob, including bosses\. They could heal, take damage and die permanently, dropping their equipment\. Journeymen would have five ranks: Recruit, Soldier, Experienced, Veteran and Elite\. Ranking up would require both surviving a certain number of Minecraft days and personally defeating enough hostile mobs\. Higher ranks would improve combat intelligence, accuracy, reactions, defence, health and damage\. Players could view their companion’s rank, age, kills and progress\. This would make villages more alive, encourage fortified town building and make adventures more exciting\.
This would be good for players in late game and especially solo players. Its such a cool concept.ndkeepsbusy
