Minecraft Bedrock Edition should improve how custom skins are saved and displayed.
Currently, custom skins imported from websites and apps, such as NameMC and Skinseed, can disappear after restarting the game. Players sometimes have to import their skins again, which is frustrating.
I suggest two improvements:
1. Permanently save imported skins
Custom skins should remain saved and selected after closing and reopening Minecraft, without requiring players to import them again.
2. Use custom skin faces as profile pictures
Just like Minecraft Java Edition, Bedrock should automatically display the face of the player's currently equipped skin as their profile picture in the game, instead of showing a default character such as Steve or Alex.
For example, if someone uses a custom Templar Knight skin, their profile picture should show the Templar's face rather than Alex.
These changes would make custom skins more useful, improve personalization, and make Minecraft Bedrock feel more consistent with Java Edition.
Please improve custom skin support in Minecraft Bedrock Edition!
