Power and pipes

Add copper and stone pipes to transport water instead of using dispensers. Electricity could also travel through pipes using redstone, with a redstone-powered switch to turn the power on and off. Villages would have water and electricity pipes, and houses would be expanded to include them. Electric lanterns would light up homes, and bathrooms would be added to village houses, making villages feel more realistic and developed. This suggestion is part of the same series as Mediterranean Forest, and the upcoming Wild and Structures suggestion.

    uhhhh no. minecraft is supposed to seem medieval. if you added electricity then you would have to add things like light bulbs and fans and things.

    I understand your point, but my idea is not about turning Minecraft into a modern game. The electricity system could be designed to fit Minecraft's medieval fantasy style, using copper pipes, redstone, and simple village technology. It would be an optional feature that players could use or ignore.
