Please bring back the V-Sync option on PlayStation
I've been playing Minecraft on PlayStation for about a year, and turning V-Sync off made a huge difference for me. It made the game feel smoother, faster, and less delayed, especially in PvP. I could get around 180–240 FPS, making aiming, turning, and reacting to other players feel much more responsive. It made playing on console feel closer to PC and made the game way more enjoyable.
A moderator explained that this functionality was removed because of screen tearing on PlayStation, but I personally never experienced any noticeable screen tearing. What's frustrating is that the option to turn V-Sync off is still there, but it no longer removes the 60 FPS cap. Now the game stays capped at 60 FPS either way, and we lose the smoother experience we had before.
V-Sync was already enabled by default, so players who preferred it could leave it on. Why remove the choice for everyone instead of letting players decide what works best for them? If screen tearing was an issue, I'd rather see it addressed without taking away the option entirely.
Thousands of console players, including members of Bedrock PvP communities, enjoyed this feature. Please consider restoring its original functionality on PlayStation and other consoles. We aren't asking everyone to use uncapped FPS; we just want the choice back. It made a real difference, and bringing it back would make Minecraft much more enjoyable for many of us.
