Minecraft has always stood for creativity, exploration, and bringing people together. I believe there's an incredible opportunity to strengthen that mission by expanding Bedrock Edition to macOS.
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and discovered I cannot play Bedrock Edition with my family. Much of the younger generation in my family plays on consoles and mobile devices, where Java Edition isn't available. Meanwhile, Bedrock Edition isn't supported on my Mac. Despite all of us playing Minecraft, we cannot share the same experience simply because of the devices we own.
Minecraft continues to introduce exciting features, biomes, and possibilities. But I encourage Mojang and Microsoft to consider an equally meaningful investment: making the experiences you've already created accessible to more players.
Before expanding the worlds we can explore, why not expand the number of people who can explore them together?
Bedrock Edition was designed to connect players across platforms. Bringing it to macOS would strengthen that vision, bridge generational gaps, and allow more families to create memories together.
Players shouldn't have to choose between their preferred computer and playing with the people they love.
I sincerely encourage your team to prioritize macOS compatibility. New content gives us more to discover, but greater accessibility gives us more people to discover it with.
Minecraft's greatest potential isn't just creating more worlds. It's connecting more people within them.
