More ways to interact with your furry friends

Hello mojang! My name is Lucas, I’m sending this idea after a late night think about pets. I’ve been playing Minecraft since I was young and I always wanted more ways to interact with my pets, ex my dogs or cats. I think it would be very fun if you added a feature where we can pet, or play with our furry buddies, allowing a stronger connection between players and their pets. People loved when you added the feature of a cat sleeping on you, cause it made you feel closer to your animal companion. What I’m suggesting is at the bare minimum, a way to pet our animals, just a simple animation that allows players to stroke the fur, feathers, or anything else that I could’ve missed, on their companions, I think it would add a much more in depth game and real life connection between the two. Too take it a little farther, I would consider a way to play with your animals, and maybe a friendship meter, take this with a grain of salt though, because I know it might be a stretch, say if I had a way to play fetch with my dog, by throwing a stick, or was able to put a feather on my fishing rod to play with my cat, wouldn’t that be awesome? I would love to be closer with my companions. To finish, not many video games use animal and player interaction features. I won’t name a few but it kind of creates a lonely feeling, knowing that you can’t interact with them, I hope that my suggestion it thought about!
