I just wanna play Minecraft with them

I understand that the people reading these suggestions have heard this a million times before but I kinda just want to talk about it. Recently all of my friends started playing on a bedrock realm which became a problem because I have a MacBook Air and can’t play bedrock and it made me feel quite sad because I have been hearing how much fun they’ve been having and I wish I could play with them and i was wondering if you mojang could add cross play so I could play with my friends and I am aware of geyser but it is hard to set up and my friends don’t want to play on servers i make
