The Minecraft Marketplace Library desperately needs a clean-up feature.
Currently, once you purchase or claim an item from the Marketplace, it remains in your library indefinitely. There is no option to remove, hide, or properly organise unwanted content. For long-time players, this creates an increasingly cluttered library filled with items we no longer want, use, or even remember claiming.
Imagine being forced to keep every single thing you've ever owned in your bedroom, with no way to throw anything away. Eventually, finding what you actually need becomes a nightmare. That's essentially the current Marketplace Library experience.
My suggestion is simple: Give players control over their own libraries.
- Permanently Remove: Allow players to permanently delete unwanted content from their library, even if purchased, with a clear confirmation warning. No refund necessary.
- Hide Items: Let players hide content without permanently removing ownership.
- Better Organisation: Introduce sorting, folders, or favourites to make navigating large libraries easier.
Players should not be forced to keep unwanted content visible forever simply because they once claimed or purchased it.
This is a basic quality-of-life feature that would benefit everyone, especially long-time players.
We've been able to collect Marketplace content for years. Isn't it time we were given the tools to manage it?
Please give players the freedom to declutter their Marketplace Libraries!
