Dear Mojang Studios Feedback Team,
With the release of snapshots for the new Winter themed drop it would be nice to see some improvements and parity for the block that started it all, part of the original winter mode biome - the Snow Layer.
Firstly, bedrock parity, this being the ability for snow layers to fall with gravity and so called "snow-logging" allowing for the Snow Layer to occupy the same space as grass or a flower.
Secondly, improvements to its interactions with trees. Snow layers should appear below the trees, I know this may not be that obvious if you think that snow falls straight down, but it does not, it is shown in the game how it is moved by wind just like it does in real life. Additionally a kind of overlay similar to the one on the Grass Block should appear on leaves when under a Snow Layer, not necessarily changing their color to white like it happens on bedrock and is not truly realistic as Spruce is evergreen and snow doesn't stick to the bottom of leaves.
I really hope some of the community suggestions will be considered and fairly evaluated.
Sincerely, Szoked.
