After playing Minecraft Dungeons 2 for 14 hours with a friend, we noticed several issues that could be improved to make the co-op experience smoother.
1. Map bug: When entering secret areas or rifts, opening the map displays the overworld map instead of the current dungeon’s map. The map should update automatically to show the correct location.
2. Cutscene visual glitches: If a player is carrying TNT on their head, it sometimes appears behind the characters during cutscenes. Sometimes, the player’s character also appears behind the characters in the scene, breaking immersion.
3. Sculk chest loot: Some Sculk chests only drop emeralds, food, and Echo Shards, without providing other expected items. The loot system should be checked to ensure rewards work correctly.
4. Combat hit detection: Attacks sometimes fail to hit enemies even when they are very close to the character and appear to be within attack range, particularly when slightly to the right. Improving hit detection would make combat more responsive.
These issues can affect the overall experience, especially in co-op. We hope the developers will investigate them and address them in future updates. The game has great potential, and fixing these problems would make it much more enjoyable. Thank you for your work!
