The Jukebox’s new looping feature requires a container placed above it in order to repeat music discs. While this is an excellent feature, it would be better if the Jukebox could loop a single disc without needing such a container—requiring one only when the player wishes to loop multiple discs. To avoid issues with existing redstone mechanisms, a toggle option—similar to the one found on comparators and daylight detectors—could be added. When disabled, the Jukebox would not loop, playing one or more discs only once. When enabled, it would loop. If a disc is inside but no container is placed above, it would play that disc indefinitely as long as the option remains active—with the redstone signal emitted by the Jukebox remaining unchanged between loops. This would open up many possibilities for redstone mechanisms and make the feature more intuitive.
