I've heard frost potions can be pretty overpowered in PvP. Truthfully, it seems most damage-inflicting potions are good in fights, PvP or PvE. So I have just thought of a new way to combat potions, utilizing ice caves. The idea is that, when in a frozen ocean biome, or more commonly in an ice cave biome, you might come across frosted fossils embedded into the icy walls. These would be a new feature, mostly made up of bone like other cases of fossils. However, while excavating it, you might accidentally break into something extra fragile; a frozen bone block. You must be extra careful, because these will break just as easily as ice while being quite valuable. Each frosted fossil should have 2-5 frozen bone blocks. After obtaining 6 of these, you can craft a new type of shield. The Frost-Brandished Shield is crafted by placing 6 frozen bone blocks down both sides of the crafting grid, 3 on each side. A regular shield in the middle, an ice ball on the middle-bottom, and ice crystals on the middle-top. This shield will function mostly like a normal shield, however will not be disabled by an axe, and instead taking 20 durability from it. This shield can also block potion effects by simply holding up the shield at a splash potion, or holding it continuously while in a lingering potion cloud. It will have less durability, only 260. Frozen bones should also be dropped by Stays, then be crafted into a frozen bone block with 9 of them. That is all, thanks.
