Description
Minecraft’s desert biomes could become more interesting to explore with the addition of rare oases.
An oasis would be a small green area surrounded by desert terrain, featuring a natural pond, grass, and trees. Some oases could also contain small settlements inhabited by villagers.
A sulfur cave would generate underground beneath each oasis. These caves would be exclusive to oases and would serve as a unique geological feature rather than a separate treasure-filled structure. The surface would remain a peaceful, green environment.
Oases would also introduce an exclusive armor trim smithing template called the Oasis Armor Trim.
This template could only be discovered in oasis settlement chests. It would provide cosmetic customization without any additional abilities and could be duplicated using the existing smithing template system.
The Oasis Armor Trim would also be added to the requirements of the existing Smithing with Style advancement.
Why It Should Be Added
Deserts currently offer relatively few distinctive natural locations to discover.
Oases would introduce visual variety, small settlements, and an exclusive collectible reward.
They would encourage players to explore deserts while preserving the biome’s recognizable atmosphere.
