*However, a heavy blizzard could be added, which would cause more snow to fall and create a freezing effect if the player was not inside a shelter or wearing leather armor. *While campfires and torches might reduce the effect, they wouldn't be as effective as shelter.

(That would be specific to cold biomes. )

*It could be almost like the mechanics of rain and storms.
