Allow Friends to Join Singleplayer Worlds Without Servers

Dear Minecraft Development Team,

I would love to see an easy multiplayer feature added to Minecraft Java Edition.

Please allow players to invite their friends directly into their singleplayer worlds using the Friends List, even when they live far away from each other.

Players should not need to rent a server, pay for a Realm, or install additional mods. They should simply be able to open their world, invite their friends, and play together online.

The world could remain accessible only while the host is playing, with privacy settings to control who can join.

I know that a similar feature was tested during the development of Minecraft 26.2. I hope you will consider bringing it back in a future update.

This would make playing Minecraft with friends much easier!
