The new jukebox playlist and autoplay features are amazing additions. However, with the jukebox's new clean textures making it great for ceilings, wall decorations, and other creative builds, requiring a traditional wooden chest for playlists can make incorporating the feature into certain designs difficult.
my suggestion is adding a new chest variant specifically suited for jukebox playlists, perhaps an Amethyst Chest, reflecting the existing connection between amethyst and their connection to music via the allay, or an Ice Chest to complement the drop's new ice caves. It could go in any direction.
These could function similarly to regular chests while offering a more decorative alternative for players who want to incorporate automated music into their builds without compromising their designs.
it is also worth noting that if the basic wooden chest is used rather then a variant the copper golem will be able to add to playlist potentially prolonging cirten songs and unintentionally messing with player playlist. And if a barrel was used the size a playlist could be halved due to double chest.
This new chest varient would expand building possibilities while keeping the existing jukebox playlist system intact similar to how the copper golem was introduced alongside a copper chest for its new interaction with chest.
