Water should NOT ALWAYS generate below ice crevasses

The ice crevasses in the new Minecraft drop are cool, but I feel like they are not punishing enough because there is always water that generates below it and saves your fall. There should be cases where it generates water, nothing, or even icicles below it, so you actually have to be careful

  A more realistic sense of danger could instead be added by making the water in ice caves give the freezing effect
  
  i heard someone have the idea to use a similar method to potent sulfur in the hot springs where blue ice is used instead here
