I think it would be a great addition if Minecraft introduced a built-in Performance Mode that allows players to get the best possible performance without needing to install additional mods.
Instead of relying on performance mods, players could simply enable this mode in the settings to optimize the game for smoother gameplay and better frame rates.
It would be really helpful if this mode could include optimizations for rendering, chunk loading, entity rendering, particles, and other areas that can affect performance. The goal would be to make Minecraft run as smoothly as possible, especially on lower-end PCs or systems that struggle to maintain stable FPS.
Another useful addition would be a few customizable options, allowing players to choose between maximum performance, balanced settings, and better visual quality. This way, everyone could find the right balance for their system.
I think this would be a great quality-of-life improvement, especially for players who currently rely on mods like Sodium to improve their performance. Having similar performance improvements built directly into Minecraft would make the game more accessible and convenient for everyone.
The feature could be entirely optional, allowing players to keep the standard experience if they prefer it.
