When it comes to the character creator, the Marketplace should allow creators to make elements that players can use. The Marketplace should also feel like a place where players can purchase items without getting ripped off or scammed. However, attempting to browse the Marketplace makes it apparent that the last point is not being met.
If character creator elements are able to be colored, and most of them aren't, then why would "67 Wings" and "RGB 67 Wings" both be allowed on the Marketplace? Why can "67 Wings" be allowed when it's only available in pitch black, when it could be available in literally every color with practically zero effort?
Elements like "Blue Fursona Tail" exist, but no other colors. Why isn't the item "Fursona Tail" with the ability to customize the color?
It's extremely apparent that the moderation on the Marketplace doesn't put as much care into the customer experience as it does the creator experience. These are items that cost real money.
This issue is not exclusive to third-party elements either. "Pom Pom Beanie" by Minecraft has no customizable colors. "Peasant Hood," "Flower Crown," and "Earflap Hat" are in the same boat. One color, with no options to customize the color or buy the item in different colors.
The process of submitting an item needs to be revamped to improve the user experience.
