1. Restore Independent Heroes (Main Issue)
I've been playing Minecraft Dungeons II with my two young sons, but unfortunately they've stopped playing because they can't independently progress their own heroes.
Currently, their heroes are linked to my main hero as secondary characters. This means they can't select their own hero as Player 1 and play independently without me.
In the original Minecraft Dungeons, any hero could be selected as Player 1, allowing everyone to play solo or together while progressing their own character.
This is a major step backwards for local co-op, particularly for families sharing a console. Please restore the original system so every hero can be played independently, regardless of who created it.
2. Bring Back Full Hero Previews (Nice to Have)
In Minecraft Dungeons 1, you could see your entire hero on the character selection screen, including equipped armour and weapons.
In Dungeons II, only the face is visible. It would be great to restore full-body previews so players can see their characters and equipment.
3. Fix Hero Appearance Reset (Bug?)
I've noticed that customised hero appearances seem to revert to the default when returning to the character selection screen.
It would be great if selected appearances were retained correctly.
Overall, we're enjoying the game, but hero independence is the biggest issue. My sons have lost interest because they can't progress their own characters independently. Fixing this would make a huge difference to our family.
