I’m writing as someone who spent 100+ hours playing the original Minecraft Dungeons and genuinely loved it.
The biggest reason I kept playing Dungeons 1 for so long was the endgame. After finishing the story, there was still so much to do: higher difficulty tiers, Power progression, secret missions, Ancient Hunts, Ancient Mobs, gilded gear, Tower runs, and chasing better builds and loot.
In Dungeons II, I’ve finished the story and reached level 100, and now I’m struggling to find a reason to keep playing. It feels like the progression stops far too quickly.
Please consider adding a proper endgame system. It doesn't necessarily need to copy Dungeons 1 exactly, but something like:
-
A continuously increasing difficulty system
-
A reason to keep improving gear after level 100
-
Gilded or similarly rare gear with exciting drops
-
Randomized/replayable endgame dungeons
-
Secret missions or hidden content
-
Boss/Ancient-style encounters
-
A Tower or endless challenge mode
-
More meaningful build and loot progression
I really want to enjoy Dungeons II for as long as I enjoyed the first game, but right now it feels like I’ve finished everything after only a fraction of the time I spent playing Dungeons 1.
Please don't let the game stop at the campaign. The foundation is there — it just needs an endgame that gives players a reason to keep coming back
