Village decomposing after all villagers killed

If all Villagers are killed, the village will slowly turn into an abandoned village with cobwebs. the transformation I'm envisioning is kinda like a tree's leaves breaking but not as fast. this could be a punishment for being unable to defend from a Pillager raid. Though if this is too drastic it could also just be exclusive to Hard or Hardcore difficulty. Maybe even a gamerule? "VillageDecomposion"

This would incentivize maintaining and protecting villages.

    I personally love this idea! It would add really interesting aesthetics to the game.

    It does have a big change so people would be careful not to slaughter villagers if they want trades.
