Abolish Mob Vote

You know that saying, "It's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all"? Well, I feel like the opposite applies to Minecraft.

Every time there's a new mob vote, there's always massive backlash, arguments, and despair over the results from roughly 2/3 of the player base who have to see their new favorite mob be yanked away from their arms to never be seen again. (I mourn you every day, Copper Golem!) At this point, is it even worth it anymore?

I just feel that the Mob Vote does more harm than good for the Minecraft community and we would be better off without it. Besides, it's not like we don't have other ways of telling Mojang what we want to see in future updates.
