Frozen Fossils block – Ancient Remains Trapped in Ice

Imagine exploring deep inside the Ice Caves and suddenly spotting ancient bones frozen inside the walls around you.

Frozen Fossil Blocks could be translucent ice blocks containing the remains of creatures that became trapped there long ago. They could generate naturally in the walls, floors and large ice formations throughout the Ice Caves.

There could be several visual variants with different bones inside, making fossil discoveries feel more natural and mysterious.

Breaking the block normally could drop Bones, while using Silk Touch would allow players to collect the entire Frozen Fossil Block and use it for building, museums or decoration.

This wouldn't need any complicated new mechanics – just a simple atmospheric block that makes the Ice Caves feel ancient, mysterious and worth exploring.

And who knows what kind of creatures those bones once belonged to?
