Unmelting icicle type

Both for building without limiting yourself to low light levels and for games:not know which spikes will fall. Maybe make them packed. Maybe 2 packed ice one on top of the other in the grid

    I would also love to be able to use them for building without melting! A friend suggested making a permafrost variation
