Hello Mojang, I think it would be fitting if the new caves had a new ''Thin Ice'' block, it would be very similar to the normal ice that generates in frozen water, however, it wouldn't release water when broken or smelt. Thin Ice would also break if the player jumped upon it (similar to how crops behave), being a very dangerous and interactive block. It could appear in new platforms and edges in the Ice Caves, which would encourage the player to be even more careful and aware of the reactive environment, being a complementative feature to the new icicles that have a similar purpose. In addition to this, thin ice could also generate in walls surrounding fossils and great ore patches inside the new biome. Lastly, it would be possible to craft it with icicles, giving a new reason to farm and use these.
