    this sounds like an amazing idea! I imagine such a mechanic would have a lot of Redstone applications. think about having different goat horns being able to activate different pieces of Redstone around a base. you could basically have Redstone remotes in your inventory.

    I don't think the copper horns should, just because its nice for the two forms to have their own unique niches. As for the redstone thing, I think it would be cool if the different horn sounds had different distances they could send to but because they would likely actuvate any sensors up to their distance limit it'd work more like a wireless comparator instead of a remote per se.

    Agreed! It makes no sense why goat horns can be heard from so far away, but it only triggers skulk sensors and the Warden from a short range. Not to bring in YouTube, but I've been watching the latest season of Double Life, and the players are blowing horns like crazy down in the deep dark and it's doing practically nothing! From a consistency point of view, it makes sense for all sounds to only reach a certain distance but MAN do I wish goat horns were the exception.
