Let's be real, some villager professions like the leatherworker are pretty much useless. Instead of letting them take up space, why not swap out the leatherworker and introduce a brand-new Lumberjack profession? Here is how the idea would work:The Lumberjack Villager: You assign this villager using a new workstation called a Lumber Table.Cross-Biome Wood Trading: The clever part is that the lumberjack sells wood types from biomes other than the one the village is located in. If you collect a few of these guys, you can get access to every wood type in the game without having to travel across a thousand chunks just to build with dark oak or cherry wood. It mirrors how collecting multiple armor smiths can give all armor type. The Lumber Table (New Block): A brand-new Lumber Table would be introduced specifically for the lumberjack and the player. It works just like the stonecutter: you drop in 1 wood plank, and you can instantly craft it into any wood variant like slabs, steps, fences, gates, or trapdoors without wasting extra materials or clogging up your crafting grid. Why do this? It saves us hours of tedious resource grinding, cuts down inventory clutter, and lets us focus on the actual fun parts of the game—like building and exploring. Plus, it gives players who hate repetitive resource gathering a way to keep their creative momentum going! What do you guys think?
