I really wanted to like DII, but after extensive play, it currently feels much less complete than Minecraft Dungeons 1.
The biggest issue is not the level cap itself. It is the lack of meaningful progression after reaching higher levels.
I reached level 100 very quickly just by playing with other players. But after reaching that point, there isn’t enough compelling content to keep playing.
What made D1 so addictive was the gameplay loop:
Play → get better loot → optimize your build → tackle harder content → repeat.
Tower was a great example. It gave players a reason to keep experimenting with builds, farming gear, and improving their characters.
DII needs something similar, or preferably something even better.
Please consider adding:
* A substantial endgame mode similar to Tower
* More challenging content with meaningful rewards
* More unique bosses and repeatable boss encounters
* More meaningful build diversity
* Rare and powerful equipment worth farming
* Higher difficulty tiers with meaningful differences
* Rotating challenges or other long-term activities
* More replayable co-op content
Please don’t simply increase the level cap. The problem isn’t the number next to the player’s name. The problem is that there isn’t enough meaningful content to make that number matter.
DII has a good foundation, but it currently feels like it was released before the endgame was fully developed.
D1 set a very high standard. Please give DII the depth and replayability it deserves.
