When struck by lightning, an Allay turns into a Vex.

It would make collecting those lightning rods more useful and placing them nearby allays.

    Why would anyone want to intentionally turn Allays into Vexes? Vexes are hostile, can fly through walls, and die automatically over time. Meanwhile Allays will pick up items without the player being there, and can theoretically be used in fancy automatic farms.

    Although I agree it would be a cool feature, I'm not sure why you'd consider it a "more useful" use for lightning rods.
