I have seen many things saying that Minecraft Dungeons 2 is currently lacking a strong endgame. When I first heard of the game's release, I automatically thought that this would be a good idea. You should be able to find trial chambers on the map. They could be randomly generated which might be fun, or it could be something like the tower from Minecraft Dungeons 1. I think that if you could enter a trial chamber like it was the MCD1 tower, that would be a really fun way to get new items that you cant find all the time, get some choice in the matter, and also have a nice little time advancing. It would be less like the original tower in the sense that you just have to complete so many floors to get better loot, and it would probably be available after a certain milestone in the game, or after the main story. I think that you would start with basic gear, like the original tower, and then as you move up each floor, choosing new pieces of gear, each with a random modifier, having merchants every so often, etc. However, I would propose that it runs indefinitely (or like, capping at 99, or 999). Each floor would get increasingly harder, increasing in threat level and bringing harder mobs and areas of terrain. The biggest change would be that after the player dies, or completes the 99-999 levels, they would get to choose their gear between so many options, but it is based on the number of floors completed, kills, and stuff like that.
