I would love to see Snow Leopards added to the snowy mountains of Minecraft.
They would be large predators, mainly active at night. They could hunt goats and other small animals, climb rocky terrain, and quietly approach their prey before attacking.
Their main gameplay purpose would be to help maintain the mountain ecosystem by naturally controlling animal populations. Their presence could also indicate that an area has enough space and food to support a large predator.
Snow Leopards would normally be wary of players, but they could attack if a player gets too close to their territory. They would not drop any items when killed, so there would be no reason to hunt them.
Since Snow Leopards are a threatened species in real life, they could also have an educational purpose, teaching players that protecting wildlife also means protecting its habitat.
Their reward would not be an item—it would be having a healthy ecosystem and being able to observe a rare predator in your Minecraft world.
