Character limitations

I was really looking forward to mcd2. There two two fatal issues which will prevent me from playing. One: the online / offline issue is completely lame and totally unexplained. Next, not being able to solo a character originally made as a “guest” is also disqualifying. Please fix so I can actually enjoy the game.
