Shoulder Pets

I have an idea for a feature to be added to Minecraft. How it works is, by participating in certain events, you get a shoulder pet added to your account. By equipping it (in the launcher, minecraft.net, or the dressing room), a pet will appear on your shoulder wherever you go. It's similar to capes - they don't do anything gameplay wise, they're just fun collectables to look good with someone's skin.
