Cuddle chaos

An update where there are more pets, follower pets, rideable pets, and even fish you can pick up in a bucket, this update could add a few tameable mobs, new cat varients, etc, and maybe make some other existing mobs tameable, kind of like how you made the ghast into the happy ghast

    I don't love that idea. For too long there has been a trend of Mojang adding useless features that have little to no connection to what is already in the game. There's already an incredibly shallow ocean of features, and simply adding new pets is only going to make things worse.
